What We Do

African Indigenous Women Empowerment (AIWE) is a woman led community-based organization founded by a group of women who envisaged empowering women and girls as essential linkages in any stable society. The idea of forming AIWE initially was to reach out to the women and girls in South Sudan. Its fully established and registered by the Government of South Sudan under Relieve and Rehabilitation Commission Act in June 2018, Registration number 1,657.

Our Staff

At AIWESS, all staff respects their professional code of ethics and maintain complete independence from political, economic or religious powers.
As a charity organisation, AIWES highlights the risks and dangers of the missions its staff carry out as they serve beneficiaries and no staff make claim for any form of compensation other than that which the organisation affords.
